Vineyard72 is an independent wine bar and wine merchant in the heart of Tynemouth, created for people who enjoy great wine, good food and a relaxed atmosphere.
Since opening our doors in 2020, Vineyard72 has grown from a small independent wine bar into something we’re incredibly proud of. Today you can find us at the historic Land of Green Ginger and at our new Vineyard72 Front Street location, bringing our love of wine to the heart of Tynemouth’s bustling Front Street.
Wine is at the centre of what we do. Our carefully selected range includes everything from easy-drinking favourites to something a little more unusual, and with our specialist wine preservation system, we’re able to offer a fantastic selection by the glass. It means you can discover something new without committing to the whole bottle – and if you find one you love, you can buy a bottle to take home.
But Vineyard72 isn’t just about wine.
Our menus are designed for relaxed socialising, with cheese and charcuterie, sharing boards and a selection of freshly prepared dishes that are perfect alongside a glass of wine. If wine isn’t your thing, you’ll also find cocktails, spritzes, beers and alcohol-free options.
